The Overview tab at the bottom of the Health module gathers your day’s body data into one screen: the activity ring at the top, with metric cards like basal metabolism, steps, sleep, and heart rate below. You decide which cards show and in what order.
What’s on the Overview page
- Top date: tap the date in the middle to switch which day you’re viewing; the row of small rings above is a weekly overview of each day’s activity rings.
- Activity ring: the three rings Move / Exercise / Stand correspond to your day’s active energy, exercise minutes, and stand completion.
- Metric cards: basal metabolism, active energy, steps, sleep, heart rate, respiration, weight, blood oxygen, heart rate variability (HRV), distance, calorie balance, workouts, and more, with data from the system Health app.
Custom cards: see only what you care about
Too many metric cards, with some you don’t use? Tap the grid icon (⊞) in the top-right corner of the Overview page to open Custom Cards:
- Show / hide: each card has a toggle on the right; cards you turn off won’t appear on the Overview.
- Reorder: press and hold the drag handle (≡) on the right and drag up or down to move the metrics you care about most to the front.
- Change back anytime: turn the toggle back on and the card and its historical data are all still there, nothing is lost.
FAQ
Some metrics have no data / show 0?
This data comes from the system Health app. Make sure your iPhone or Apple Watch is recording the corresponding data, and allow Vitae to read health data in system settings.
I only care about weight and steps. Can I turn off all the other cards?
Yes. Tap the grid icon in the top-right corner to enter Custom Cards, turn off the toggles you don’t need, and keep only weight and steps for an instantly cleaner Overview.
Does turning off a card delete its data?
No. Hiding only removes it from the Overview display; the historical data is always kept and you can view it anytime by turning the card back on.
