No more typing entries one by one. Hand a bill screenshot from Alipay, WeChat, shopping apps, food-delivery apps, or your bank to the AI, and it automatically recognizes every transaction in the image—filling in the amount, time, and category for you, generating a “to confirm” list. Just review it and batch-save.
Steps
- Open “Finance → Ledger Entry” and go to AI Receipt Capture.
- Pick a bill screenshot. Alipay / WeChat, shopping apps, food-delivery apps, bank statements, and payment-success pages all work—the clearer the image and the more readable the text, the better.
- Let the AI recognize it. It extracts the amount and time from each transaction in the image and suggests a category—a single bill list can often surface several entries at once.
- Review one by one, batch confirm. Results appear as a list where you can change the category, edit the amount, and choose an account for each entry, or delete a misrecognized one entirely; save them all at once after reviewing.
- Done. The saved records all appear in your ledger entry list.
Why “Batch Confirm”
Records recognized by the AI are not booked directly; they first enter a to-confirm list for you to review before saving. There are a few reasons for this design:
- One image, many entries. Bill-list screenshots often contain several transactions, and the AI recognizes them all at once—no need to screenshot and record each one separately.
- Fast, but not blind. Auto-fill saves you from typing, but amounts and categories occasionally come out wrong—confirming before booking lets you enjoy the speed of automation without fear of mis-recording.
- Easy to edit and delete. One tap switches the category, amounts can be corrected by hand, and a clearly wrong entry can be deleted on its own without affecting the rest.
- Originals aren’t kept. The screenshot is used only for this one recognition and isn’t stored afterward; your ledger data always stays in your own iCloud.

What if the AI gets the amount or category wrong?
Before saving, every entry in the to-confirm list can be edited or deleted; even after saving, you can change it anytime in the ledger entry list.
